• A gift of 10 EURO allows VSF to pay the monthly fee for one community animal health worker to actively look for cases of Rinderpest in the remotest areas in southern Sudan.
• With 35 EURO VSF can vaccinate 10 head of cattle that each provide daily milk to a family of 6.
• With 50 EURO VSF can buy enough vaccine to protect 340 goats against a deadly lung disease. The sale of one healthy goat will allow one child to attend primary school during one term.
• With 100 EURO VSF can purchase a heavy duty bicycle for a community animal health worker in South Sudan. One animal health workers on average cares for the animals of approximately 700 families.
• With 110 EURO VSF can train one community animal health worker in Turkana, Kenya. In this region one camel provides enough milk for a whole year to 5 children.
• With your gift of 205 EURO VSF can buy veterinary medicines and equipment for the starter kit of a newly trained Animal Health Worker. Each AHW treats between 50 and 100 animal per month in remote areas of Turkana.
