| VSF's vets are aiming to help the least
fortunate people in the poorest
areas of the world. In a lot of developing countries livestock
represent an
important source of high quality food . However in these same
areas
veterinary services are in most cases non existent, thus the
danger of an
epidemic is never far away. And exactly there lies the problem:
when the
herd dies so does the village. Appropriate action, often based
on training,
is of vital importance to prevent or remedy such crisis situations. |
